A Makeover for a waterfall-style vanity

I love client projects that allow me to indulge my girly side! As a mom to 2 boys, it's not something I get to do often. A recent makeover of a waterfall style vanity for a little girl's room afforded me the opportunity to do so. The warm and happy color combination of silver and cream was chosen by her and birds were added to each bottom drawer at the request of her mom. It's the perfect project to post on the first day of

  • I repainted a vanity exactly like this some months ago, and while I realize that some folks are true wood purists, sometimes paint truly does do wonders. In my case, the veneer was damaged and needed to be removed and my daughter wanted something not brown. The richness of your paint job and the stenciling all came together to make a lovely piece!

    I hate to see these gems encased in chalk paint. Scratches are prettier.
